As long as Earth has been a planet, there has been a sky above it. That sky is filled with all types of clouds. They are always changing, never repeating. Light passes through them, reflects off of them and is hidden behind them. Sometimes they fill the sky with billowing grandeur and sometimes they are only whips on the horizon. This video pays tribute to our silent celestial ceiling. 

 

This film is part of my Split series, where objects are filmed close enough to capture their iconography, but not reveal themselves entirely, Using ​kaleidoscopic presentation to highlight movement, the objects are deconstructed in to a series of shapes and patterns and transformed into something new, while still retaining their essence.
